My name is Matt Simmons, and I’m the owner of Simmons Garage Doors here in Santa Clarita.
I started this company in 2022 with a simple goal: do solid work, charge a fair price, and treat people the way I’d want someone treating my family. No sales pitch. No corporate scripts. Just honest garage door service from someone who actually shows up and does the job.
Before opening Simmons Garage Doors, I worked in the industry and saw how often customers were oversold, overcharged, or left waiting around all day for a technician who might not show. I knew there was room for a smaller, local company that focused more on doing the work right rather than hitting sales numbers.
So I started my own.
In the beginning, it was just me, my truck, and my tools. A lot of early business came from neighbors and referrals, and that’s still a big part of how we grow today. When someone recommends me to a friend or family member, that means more than any ad ever could.

This isn’t a side hustle or a temporary gig. This is my business, my name on the truck, and my livelihood. I want every job to be one I can stand behind.
